Hello again! Well, I have struggled through the past year and still the tank remains. So first, Thanks to all at ARC for providing all the useful information here. I don't read books anymore.... just ARC :)

Anyways, Here's my tank after nearly a year... everything appears to be progressing well, but I do have 2 questions.

In pic 1, there's a gold tiger striped fish that I have not been able to ID. It looks great, and is a reflective gold. I received it as a gift from "Santa", and nobody knows anything about it.... Go figure. The good thing is that is hasn't been messing with any corals, but it does appear to have a bass type mouth which makes me wonder how big this thing will get!
Also, as you can see, I have 2 "Mini"-Maxi's that have always been almost on top of each other. What is the easiest way to move one if possible? Their "feet" are dug into holes in the rock right next to each other so they are difficult to access. I'd love to move one to the other side of the tank, but know I might just have to deal with it. They've been in their spots for at least 6 months now.

Anyways, thanks again to all those who support newbies here. We appreciate it!

P.S. Pics are horrible due to #@$@ blackberry. Water is a bit cloudy due to glass cleaning. I hope they turned out well.

Edit: wow they get big! Good luck, you have some beautiful species though (-=

You got it. That's definitely it.... All I've got to say is WOW! That is big. I suspected something big, but 3 FT is more than I had thought of. As much as I love the looks of it, it appears I'll have to get rid of it before it gets too much larger.

Thank you for the ID Frantz!

Cant ID the fish but nice Maxi's! You may have to break the rock.

LOL... Noooooooo!!! I love that rock! :)
It's nearly a half circle... and took forever to find. I'd probably have to live with them before I could break that one. Why always the good rock! :)

In the past I tried the dunking method, and ice cubes by the feet, but those things just wont budge. I'm thinking maybe just aim a jet towards it for a few days? I'm just not sure if that could hurt them or not.

Thank you,
They are coming along well, and about 8 inches across each now.

Take the rock hold it upside down and raise it above the water near the serfice they should let go

Super jealous of those Maxi's! And I like your aquascaping.

Santa brought you an "expert" fish for a 300g tank that grows to be 3 feet?! We must not have the same Santa. Plus, hope Santa brings you a lot more in the future  What a cool fish though!
