I forgot to mention that these are wild and not cultured in a tank (so I was told). Are shortcake wild?

nice sticks, keep your water chemistry stable. Wild and maricultured sps can be a little more tricky.

Thank you. Hopefully I can get it to grow really big and healthy and share with the community later on. Any other advice?

I think youre dead on with the acropora spatulata. I just looked it up and looks exactly the same.

Do you think its necessary ? I dose one system but not my other because my sump keeps up with n03 and p04.
If you deem it necessary read a lot and start slow , I suggest using a dosing syringe to measure it once you've read and determine a safe starting dose (no eye balling it)
I personally use vodka I played with vinegar and a mix but vodka is cheap and efficient and I seem to have it readily available
