ID Help...snail babies?

Never seen this before. I did notice some little babies cruising around on the overflow box last night though. Is this just part of the snail itself?

Oh those guys. Maybe/probably but have to look them up as babies to be sure. Fuge em and see what happens

I can't figure out which snail in the tank this is now. He's not on the front glass anymore though. Looking at my picture again, those things trailing him were definitely outside his shell. I wonder if they "house" their young like a kangaroo for a bit?

I'm generally clueless... they look just like some sponges I have on my PHs. Have you observed discernable movement?

Yeah, they look like pineapple sponges to me, too.

I have one snail who has quite a growth of hair algae on his shell.
