Under ac light they glow a nice green. What are the Zoa's and what is the one in the front? (almost looks like a feather duster, but i know it is a coral) it looks yellow'ish in the middle, coming out of a tube? and has green around it.

Yep looks like a button polyp....protopalythoa and zoanthids. I've never been into the crazy names the zoanthid fanatics give them.....but "radioactive dragon eyes" would certainly work.

I would like to submit a pic under this thread, for identification.

Was thinking maybe green death, or nuclear green, but neither is a dead-on match.

Thanks in advance,

Shane

Edit: They are purple "stalks" and fringes, with green centers. the little "button" in the Center is the same green as the center - it is not a different color as I have seen in some pics on the net.

I had not looked at that, but some characteristics of the Green Button tend to convice me otherwise, namely:

- Their mouth is white - mine have mouth the same green as the surrounding area
- they have long tapering tentacles - mine's tentacle are quite short, not flowing, like in the pictures at http://animal-world.com/Aquarium-Coral-Reefs/Green-Button-Polyp">http://animal-world.com/Aquarium-Coral-Reefs/Green-Button-Polyp</a>

Edit: Perhaps mine are not fully matured yet?
