Picked up a very nice Bleeding Apple Scoly (shown in the first picture) from a great member in trade for a heater. We I emptied the coral dip I found the critter shown in the second picture. Any idea what it is?

that scoly sure would look good in MY tank :)
2nd pic is a brittle star and yes you have a snail in the scoly so it is infected which means you need to get it out of your display asap. You can use my tank as a quarantine and I will let you know when it is healthy enough to return to you :):):)
