I had received a piece of live rock a few months ago under the impression that the coral that was on it was dead. Well one of them is coming back to life! I have no idea what it is and would like to know so I can take better care of it. :) I didn't even think my tank was "good" enough to revive something since I have been battling cyno and just recently have won the battle! Thanks ahead of time!

I think that is what it is!! Thanks!! I didn't think my T5's could support sps, proved me wrong >< lol :)

My vote's for pavona as well. FYI, mine has sweeper tenticles that come out about an inch or two from time to time, depending on flow. May want to keep it away from any valuable corals you may have. Congrats on the Freebie though.

I have two different types of pavona, one with long sweeper tentacles. This coral seems pretty docile. I have them next to my blastos and they do fine but I would be cautious just to stay safe.

ok will do :) dont have much in my 55, so I dont have much to worry about lol just the xenia, but its above the flow of the pavona so it should be ok thanks again everyone!! :)
