i've had a pagoda in the past that wasn't so green it was more yellow with the same color polyps this ones polyps is red. i was just making sure btw i bought this at petland alpharetta for 18 bucks not to shabby if you ask me

Looks like cyphastrea to me. I'm basing my guess off a frag I got from Melissa. The piece I have is different colors, but the polyps are the same. Here is a link to a differenty kind a cyphastrea:

I could be completely wrong, but thought I'd share my 2 cents.

I say cup coral as well. I have a small piece that is purple with yellow polyps. Can't wait for it to grow out!

I say Andy is right - it's cyphastrea. Pagoda cups have larger polyps, so it's not that coral.

**** i had figured that frag was a montipora digi that was just still small.... i need to brush up on my sps. it looks much greener under your lighting.

edit: yeah i think a picture with something to compare the size would get a better ID. i really dont think its a cup coral or a pagoda
