ID this!

I was pushing sand back where my fish moved it around and I found this creature and pulled it out these are the best pictures I can get any idea?
I thought it was algae because it was red about 3/4 of an inch long when I stretched it out.

Is the whole thing squishy? I've been getting a lot of spaghetti worms in my frag system lately. When I siphon them out they look a lot like that. There are a few different kinds but for some reason I never notice them until I'm cleaning the tank. I find them in the heavy detritus under large frag plates all the time. That's my guess - spaghetti worm.
