If you were starting a small tank (20-30G) that would consist of high end chalices, Zoas / Palys, and other lps (maybe a few sps) what lighting would you use if you wanted the best color?

Darren I think the AI Sol nano would be a good choice for that size tank.

But seriously D.......Here is a light by Kessil that some folks like. Sleek and small.

acro, i was just looking at those kessil lights, looks nice, my question is which one and how many. I would imagine i would need two over my 40g breeder.

I'd go with ecoxotic LED. All of the other LEDs I have seen only direct the light in one direction and Ecoxotic seems to be the best about not doing that!

AGREE...
several panorama fixtures with Stunner accents would blow your tank up..

you're talking about relatively low light needs in your livestock..
the New Ecoxotics have some CRAZY actinics..

your tank would look like a RAVE under Blacklights, tripping on acid..

I'm just sayin'..

(I've got a 30L for sale if you need one)

the AI's are ridiculous overkill for a tank that size (shallow)
