so i was selling a few frags out of my tank yesterday and ended up knocking over 5 diffrent corals in the process and since i ran out of glue i had to wait till today to get some more and glue them down. in the process of glueing my green digi colony that i have been growing out for years i broke it in half trying to put enough pressure on it to get the glue to really spread out and sink in to the crevices on the rock. then i broke 3 more frags off the bigger peice trying to glue it down. anyway now i have 2 colonys and several frags and 6 fingers on two hands covered in glue. too bad i cant make the auction it would be great to be able to make some money off of some of these frags lol

Lol! I can sympathize. Looks like my hands a few months ago working with my digi. The more I tried to fix the more I broke. The more I broke the more frags I had to mount. The more frags I made the more glue I had on my fingers! Nail polish remover or acetone will clean you right up. Use some lotion on your hands after getting the glue off and washing your hands. They both strip oil from the skin. Good luck with your new frags. In a way, I am glad I am not the only one this happens to.

Hey Buddy!
I always wear gloves when I use super glue. I can NEVER manage to not get it every where. I totally think its a conspiracy. They only put like 1/2 tsp in those same things and I get most of that on myself. LOL

Gee.. when I saw the "Fragger's Finger" I had a completely different mental picture. Only thing worse then getting the "Finger" is going out in public with it, I was in the middle of gluing everything and remembered that I had to go meet my daughter's pre-school teacher. I had a tough time explaining until I showed them pictures of my tank ;-)

Not regular loc-tite. Loc-tite Cyanoacryllic gel glue is what you'll be looking for.

Thanks..,

Michael

yup loctite works and it is reef safe just make sure you get the superglue and not the threadlocker. like ringo said itll be the cyanoacrylate based glue
