ok guys, help me out..the soft coral shown below is slowly shrinking and was about 6 times bigger when purchased about 6 months ago...
setup is as follows:
72gal
only other corals in tank are shown in second picture (bubble and greenie)
no fish are picking on him
nitrates are the lowest they've been in six months (and i think his shrinking is contributing )
phosphates are low
alk is a little high
ph is slightly low
salinity is dead nutz on
ive tried:
new 10k MH replacements (running for a week)
new blues (running for two)
phytoplex (2 or 3 times in two weeks)
coral accel (same)
i feed once a day, alternating flake and frozens (brine, prime reef, formula 2)

i would take him out and bring to my LFS to see if he does better but hes pretty planted to my rocks

any ideas?? thanks so much as usual...

if you're alk is high and ph too low, then that's where I'd start!

Water changes can do wonders. WHat's your wc schedule?
