I am installing a flush valve to my RODI and I have a couple questions.

1) Should I run the booster pump when I flush the system?
2) how long should I flush it before I start making water?
3) Should I flush the system when I am done making water?
4) Should you do a flush periodically while making RO water
4b) If yes how often?

1) don't use booster pump, so can't help
2) i run mine for 2-3 minutes before making water
3) i don't
4) some people do, bulk reef supply has a vid on their youtube about it (BRStv)
Hope this helps

I'm not sure about the booster pump question. I was told by the Air Water & Ice people to flush one minute for every day on non use. They also said a flush after use would help prolong membrane life as well.

1. No need
2. 30 seconds to a minute should be more than enough. That's all I need for my TDS reader to start measuring 0.
3. I don't.
4. I don't.
