Sorry to beat a dead subject but needing a prescription to get this product is news to me. We have been treating our 2 dogs (Maltese / Yorkie) for a couple of years from an online pet supply etailer and they have never asked for a prescription. Are we the exception?

No you're not the exception. Although I have a prescription, the etailer I ordered from didn't require it so I've been doing the same thing for my 6 dogs for years now as well. Eventually it'll probably be addressed sometime? It's obviously not a high priority.

No, I don't think it's against the guidelines, since the distribution is their responsibility, not ours; the onus is on them to require a prescription. While I don't agree with online pharmacies (for both pets and people) that don't check/require prescriptions, it's within the bounds we set on this forum, IMO.

If someone wants to know just PM me. I do not wenat to get the etailer in trouble.

Darren
