Using a BRS reactor and granular GFO.
Noticed the flow rate diminish over the course a several days and noted the sponge at the bottom side appearing to clog with GFO 'dust'. I tried a knee high stocking to place the GFO in, and it greatly diminished the 'dust' phenomenon. I've also reversed flow through the unit for 10-15 minutes and filtered the output through my filter sock compartment, and had a substantial increase in flow.
Is anyone else noticing this, and what if anything are you doing to correct?
