but you can call me Cali. I am a retired commercial nitrox technical diver and commercial fisherwoman and I held the first ever issued permits from the Army Corps of Engineers to engage in Mariculture of liverock in the Gulf of Mexico. I have a BA in psychology and another in Interdisciplinary Natural Sciences from USF. I am a writer and a spiritual coach teaching Lucidity and I have a podcast called "Imagifestor Central." I have a 75 gallon display tank tank that is my backdrop for coaching sessions and in it I have 3 mated pairs: a pair of Maroon Clows, a pair of Purple Firefish Gobies, and a pair of Coral Beauties. I also have a pair of yellow fantail blennies who are peacefully co-existing--although no signs of courting yet. I hear a lot of emphatic talk from folks about who you can put in one 4' long tank together and how Maroon clows must have bubble tipped anemones and that's why they are all so territorial. My Maroons share Condylactus anemones. Yes, they like Bubble tips, but one of them is too rough on her host and she exhausts BTs. I recommend Condys. They are much hardier than BTs. I look at the price of "Rock Flower Anemones" online and I am astounded that humble pymanthus crucifer can bear a price of over $300?!
When I was doing liverock and stock sales, you could hardly get $20 for one selling to the stores. Makes me consider coming out of retirement. And I might. I have the room to build stock tanks and lots of extra pumps, etc. The gear just proliferates, dunnit?
I look forward to chatting it up. My tank runneth over with Caulerpa prolifera. I love the stuff but it grows so fast!
