Introductions. Researching salt water tanks

Hi everyone,

It was recommended that I post something about myself in order to gain functionality of this site.

I am a medical student who has been researching reef tanks for the past 4 weeks. I think I'm finally going to get into a nano tank of some sorts, mostly for my daughter.

I see there are many excellent threads, and I really have no questions at this time but...read much of everything that is posted.

Nice to meet you and welcome, there is a wealth of knowledge here. Also take advantage of the search box for some of your simplier answers. There are a few of us in central georgia on here that are willing to help and we ride together and chip in on trips to atl. Myself and mapleredta are out of cochran 40 mins south of you

If your getting in the hobby for your daughter go ahead and plan for 2 tanks.. Hers and yours!! Its pretty much an exact formula..

I just started school last year-I was at emory for a long time before that though.

I'd say mercer has ups and downs...I'm sure you know it is a bit of a seesaw though I think I spend more time on the down swing of things

How did you get into all of this aquarium stuff?
