I came home from work to find my sea hare dying. He was curled up in the sand at the front of the tank (thank goodness -- I may have never found him in my 125 full of LR!).

He did the job I bought him for -- frankly, now I'm worried about my lawnmower blenny. I just don't seem to have much algae building up. I still have to clean the front of the tank glass -- as a light coating of green algae accumulates every few days.

Anyway - is this a real issue for me -- or is everything actually okay?

Well, a dead sea hare can nuke your tank with toxins...

And yes, it is possible to have too little algae to suppor a LM Blenny or a sea hare
