I know GFO should be run slower than carbon. How slow is too slow through a reactor?
Reason: I have an old MRC kalk stirrer which is broken and they no longer carry/make parts for this one. So, what I have is basically a large acrylic container with JG fittings in the lid.
I was considering making a media reactor out of it, but I'd be interested to hear if this is a workable plan.
The reason for very slow flow in this chamber is that it has JG in and out, and about the max flow I'll be able to achieve without doing surgery on it is something like a MJ1200 through 1/4" tubing.
