I have a 14 gallon nanocube, I have only had it 4 months and at this time I know I can't buy a clam but are there any clams that I will ever be able to buy or is this tank simply too small. What about starfish?

If your lighting is sufficient, a crocea clam would do well. Be careful on the starfish.....some will eat the clam. Serpent stars would be fine and they are more helpful anyways. Clams are filter feeders and you may need to target feed the clam in a tank that small with a small bioload to keep it healthy.

Any "regular" starfish would quickly starve in a tank that small.

And clams don't tolerate slack water quality care... which is more crucial in a small tank.
