Is this a Baby Mushroom?

I found this little green dot looking thing on my sandbed in a low flow area today. It was sitting there before I placed it in a cup with sand at the back of my tank. It’s about the size of a nerd candy, neon green and I can see a spot without green which I assume is the foot, if it’s a mushroom. Or maybe it’s a piece of Octospawn tentacle? I have an octopspawn in the tank and a green fuzzy mushroom. Is it one of these? neither?

I'm guessing its a part of the octospawn.  They will lose pieces of their tentacles from time to time when they get twisted up.  The green frilly will also let babies go floating in the tank but from the pic it looks like octospawn to me.
