is this a copepod or rotifer or amphipod...?

I don't have any experience with copepods/rotifers/amphipods, but my boyfriend just set up a saltwater tank. There's not much in there at the moment but there are tons of these little white "bugs"? What are they exactly?

To the naked eye Rotifers look like particles of dust floating in water.
 
I'd guess copepod. Amphipods that I have curl up like shrimp (but have tiny mantis like claws under a microscope)

this. amphs, like Frantz said, look like curled up shrimp. copepods look like a teardrop with antenna.

i've spent plenty of time staring at copepods. i took an oceanography class back in college where i stared at them observing their through a microscope feeding habits for 3hrs straight
