Looking at a 4 foot 120 made by Glass Cages.(I believe) the seams between the two glasses are not very flush. There is a small but noticeable gap between the front and side glass where you can actually feel your fingernail slip in between them. Not sure if that's OK or not? Below are some pictures I took with my phone to show what I'm talking about.. they are close, closer and very close (blown up) . I'm interested in buying this setup but not sure about it.. what do you guys think given that companies reputation (glass cages)
Thanks for the help in advance.
Anthony

There has to be a gap for the silicone to seal, I'm not sure what thickness is customary with different manufacturers. It's @ 1/16" on my custom Concept Aquariums 180. The silicone doesn't come out flush to the outside edge of the glass so I can easily feel it with my fingernail. On the inside the silicone beads protrudes very slightly.

My 180 and 75 from Glass Cages is exactly the same. Same as Steve above, you can easily insert a fingernail--and bit of a protruding bead in the inside. My 180 also has an internal middle brace and the 75 does not, but both have been solid and not budged in many years.

That's good to hear guys because it's not just the wasted money if it pops but also the destruction 120 gallons of salt water will do to my floor..thanks for the info.. never seen a aquarium with a gap like that...
