Just noticed these.
Are they eggs.
If so any idea on how to keep alive

Got two large tomato clowns. Had for 3 years but first time seeing this

Congrats. Look like clown eggs to me. And it looks like they have laid them before. That's a good bit for first go round. The second and third batch is always larger. Eight days/nights from when they laid them you should have a tank full of clowns about 1hour after dark. Parents and others will eat them.
 
Sure looks like clown eggs, probably about halfway through incubation by the looks of them. Are the clowns not tending them? Usually the male will be all over them, fanning them all the time, while the female guards the perimeter with a viciousness seldom seen.
