Is this ich?

My tang has developed some white clusters on his tail and fins. Ich usually looks like white salt like bumps on the body and fins but this looks exactly like clusters of salt on the tips of his fins. He has been acting totally normal, active eating algae and eating mysis but it doesnt seem to be getting better or worse. Just wondering how ot go about it.

Yea appears to be on dorsal and tail

huh...I don't know exactly if thats ich. It's just unusual for it to just be on the tail. It wouldn't hurt to treat with Metronidazole and Focus, that would get rid of it, if it is ich.

Yea It seems ich usually is all over the fish. O well I'll keep feeding and I'm sure he'll be fine.

It could also be fin and tail rot. I had a fish one time with some spots on hit fins. I treated it with garlic guard it its food!
