I got this torch from WWC recently. I figured it's probably just my lighting being different but could it be that different? IDK, I'm not super great at colors sometimes.

Here's the pic from WWC:

Here's it in my tank:

They are both green (jade checks out) but I'm not sold on the tips. Fortunately for WWC (less for you) they don't show it under different lights or give an actual description.

I'll take some more pics this afternoon with different filters and lights to see if I can get it to change. I wonder if I email my findings they will offer any sort of restitution. It was only $75 so I'm not mad but I would not have bought had i known it looked like this. I'm wondering if maybe someone just made a mistake and I got the wrong one.

They are the same torch, in my opinion.

The tips on the torch look white, so it will really look differant depending on the lighting its under + camera settings. Im going to assume you are probably having it under warmer lighting which will make it look appear more yellow.

You could probably replicate it, if you run cool white LEDs instead of Warmer LED, use a yellow filter with polarized Lens, and ran higher UV a royal blue LEDs. White tips on a torch will reflect certain colors from LED and appear differant tank to tank.

Honestly most corals are going to look differant tank to tank. Unless you replicate the conditions completely, you will almost always see some sort of color change.

White tipped torches are tricky, because in about 30 minutes messing with my lights and camera settings I can make the tips appear white, yellow, pink, blue, or purple. Most vendors are not trying to do mislead or mislabel anything.
