(Not sure of the right place to put this, dont know if it belongs in large or nano tanks. So mods put it where it belongs)
Alright after playing with my 7 mega pixel camera for hours trying to get good pics, I got frustrated and used my iPhone instead...
A buddy of mine (GaReefer) posted some pics of his reef tank on facebook and that got me into wanting to set up a tank of my own. He told me to check out the ARC and Im glad I did. Ive learned everything from this site. If it wasnt for the people and info here I would have either given up or not attempted a tank in the first place. This is my first ever attempt at keeping fish aside from a few carnival goldfish I killed as a kid. I want to keep it fish only for a while to make sure that I can tend a fish tank before I attempt corals. When I decide to make the leap to reef I will upgrade my lighting to a 4 bulb T5.
Ive got a 60 gallon (48x13x24) that I recessed into the wall. Its not reef ready (which I regret) so Im running a CPR style 600gph overflow box. There is about 80 lbs of sand and 40-50lbs of rock. Im running 2 Koralia 750 powerheads. Lighting is a single T5 10k with some DIY LEDs for moonlights. It has been set up since Mid-late October and Im finally getting around to posting some pics.

The back of the tank is in a utility closet with the furnace and water heater. Its definitely not ideal due to the dust possibilities but I keep it pretty clean. I made the most of what Ive got to work with, its a tight fit and a pain but it works...

My sump is a 20g long that I plan on upgrading to a 29 soon. Ive got a Reef Octopus NW-150 skimmer, filter sock and a BRS carbon reactor set up. Return pump is a Viaqua 740gph.

Livestock as of now includes 2 of Buds B&W clowns. Which my girlfriend wanted to name Barnum and Bailey since they're clowns. These are my favorite fish so far, they have so much personality. They are pigs that will eat anything in the tank. They'll even nibble on your finger if you put it in.

Next is a 6 line Wrasse that is impossible to get a good picture of. We named him Rascal.
alt="" />
Got a Chocolate Chip Starfish name Chipper since im a HUGE Braves fan
alt="" />
Lastly Ive got 2 peppermint shrimp that are pretty active and always making themselves seen. They always try and fight the fish for food
