Jeabo 18000 not working

I just bought a jebao 18000 pump from a guy on facebook.. got it home and at first it was giving me a "feed error".. now it just says "error" however you can hear and feel the pump rocking a little like it's trying to turn but then it cant. Unlike the 15000 I used to have this one has no screws where you can take head off so you can replace the propeller.. anyone have this issue before? Is it toast? Hoping someone has had this issue and a fix... let me know what you guys think...

The front casing is twist off, looking this way turn counter clock wise

The pump will shut down pretty quickly when not in water or piped with water on the impeller.

Actually I took it apart and the head has some type of shaft lock on it.. not sure why.. however the head locks into the face plate for some reason. On this particular one it was stuck in the locked position not sure why.(maybe calcium build up ) I just pressed it down with my hand and it broke loose. Now it spins freely..no problem.
