when i plug in my wp 10 the sensor light stays yellow it wont let me switch modes and the powerhead stays steady with a slow flow. Is the pump defective? I never owned these before.

WP or RW? If it's a WP...there is a sensor on the side of the controller. Remove it and see if anything changes. The pump isn't defective but the controller might be.
WP will take a look when i get home thanks.
