well im not sure if this is the right sec but if its not will someone move it. not sure what kinda tank it is but i got it and the stand for a dang good deal. its not drilled yet but will be once i make up my mind on how i want to set it up lol.. i have the idea of doing a two and two, meaning two drains and two returns.. i want to put the two drains in the middle of the tank in a over flow box and the two returns on the back wall up in each corner. ill try to get a pic of what i mean. im going to go with just fish only right now but may do a reef later.. well heres a few pics

just so you know.....you can probably drill the bottom of that tank without much worry....but if you drill the back panel....good chance itll crack....

I think you have it mixed up. Most tanks have a tempered bottom and non-tempered sides. Just about all Marineland/Aqueon/topfin or whatever else name they are manufactured under are like that.

ok so maybe i can lol

I would try and find the manufacture sticker(sometimes under the center brace) and give them a call. the reason I say this is I blew out a 55 gallon trying to drill it. It wasn't fun...

umm i dont see anything on it at all lol?

Edit: and i just seen i post the wrong tank pic lol thats a 50 i have not a 65.. ill get on of the tank tomorrow.. lol

There are ways to tell if the glass is tempered. I would try to figure it out before drilling. Better safe than sorry.

Here's a link. Probably not the best, but just an example.

I hear that almost all tanks have tempered bottoms, the sides should drill no problem.
