Joey's 180 sps money pit

This tank has been running about 2 and a half years but went full sps in May 2016. Before this is never had a real luck with sps and my original lighting choice (kessil a360we's x 3 and retro t5). My lps was great under this light setup.

Tank: standard 180g 72x24x24 Marineland
Lightning: 8x80w ATI sunpower and 2x 60" XHO reefbrite actinic blue led straps
Dosing: Triton method with pacific Kore 5th doser
Sump: standard eshopps sump and a remote refugium.
Skimmer: Aquamaxx cone s3
Flow: Alot. 2x Jebao RW-20, Maxspect Gyre 150, Jebao DC 12000 return pump

Hating on the the ole bubble algae huh!? Lol. Well if you think that's bad then you should have seen it a few months ago. My emeralds and my two rabbitfish have been doing a great job of getting rid of it. One day it may be bubble algae free but honestly SPS when the battle so WHEN my take fills in you won't be able to see it.

i went through the same battle, but i put like 8 emerald crabs in there, along with a desjardini tang that did away with all of it, best of luck to you!
