After using a Seneye monitor for almost two years, I'm starting to have issues with the slides not reading parameters besides temp on a regular basis. I'm not ready to go full Apex yet especially with my smaller biocube 32 setup, but with the cost of the slides I've started to look into possible other solutions.
I came across this kactoily monitor which seems newer and doesn't seem to require buying a new slide every month and was wondering if anyone has tried this yet? I can't tell if it will alert on parameters / temp shifts like seneye, but Seneye gave a lot of noise and only one temp alert which ended up causing a tank crash for me by a stuck heater.
So anyone with any experience, good or bad with kactoily and the accompanied app I would welcome.
