Kissing Chromis

My wife and I seen these two appearing to be kissing... didn't seem like aggression or fighting.... wasn't fast enough on snapping the photo

just like the behaviors of the kissing gourami from freshwater side, it's a display of aggression for territory

Yeah, Man. Mine do that all of the time. It took me a second before In realized they were fighting. Nothing too harmful, though...

Yes, it's aggression. Chromis are damsels... just like clownfish. You might have 2 females, or 1 or both trying to become female.

Often one gets bossy and picks off the others, one by one, if not by direct contact, by intimidating each other right to death.
