I know I’ve seen several posts about Koi Ponds on here, so I thought I would throw out a question. My neighbor has a koi pond that needs to be cleaned. Her late husband used to do it and it hasn’t been cleaned in over a year. I am going to help her, but I’ve never cleaned one before. I’ve watched a few YouTube videos and it seems very similar to a large freshwater aquarium. is there anything major I need to pay attention to? I’m going to get several buckets of pond water and net the fish, pressure wash the pond, then refill and dump the buckets with fish (after acclimation).
