Kole Tang

My Kole Tang seems to have something wrong with his mouth. He is very skiddish and runs to the rocks as soon as he sees me so I can't get a good look at it close or get a picture. Only added him a couple of days ago ate and grazed at the store. From afar he keeps his mouth open and his lips look white and I think he seems irritated by it. He hasn't eaten Nori, Algae wafers, or flakes and he doesn't seem to be grazing but hard to tell. Any ideas? Bacteria, injured mouth, parasite?? Suggestions to get him to eat or treat are welcome thanks

Did you figure it out? I have a naso that looks like that, and another tang died a few days ago from it.

I read the thread in the link I think having it in a QT and giving this a shot.

Picked up melafix. Gonna give it a shot.

No I never figured out. Couldn't get him to eat and he died. Interested to know how it goes

He died in the QT? What food you tried feeding him? Sorry for the loss.

My naso also dies. He would not eat either. This all happend in 24 hrs. Strange.
