Anybody out there think these are the same?

1p of Krakatoa sold in May for over $500.

Cherry corals has 2p of Omega Maul for $200, and I don't see omega mauls listed anywhere else.

not like I'm shoppping, but just curious about these 2 rare polyps.

The Omega's look slightly different from the Krakatoa's. Mostly the ring around the mouth. It's entirely possible that they began as a morph of the Krakatoa though, especially because of how similar they look. It's a good looking coral

looks like a morph, but not as intense green as actual krackatoa

you gonna kick her outta bed?

has anyone actually seen krakatoa in person to know if the "intense" coloration is legit.

Just looking around on ebay and somebody just listed a Cornbred Karatoa for $99 (starting)

edit: with the same picture GL just posted.

not going to help the bidding that it is mispelled as "Karatoa". That is a nice 2 polyp frag.

Probably what they came from... It wouldn't surprise me.

"Crap, we can only get $15 for darth mauls these days... Let's put it under different lighting, rename it and jack the price way up!"
