Large flatworm?

Montipora are not acropora. The picture you provided looks like it could be AFEW but I’m not sure AFEW get quite that big.

Do you have any Fimbriaphyllia or Euphyllia? The flatworms for those can get pretty big I think. Inappropriate Reefer on YouTube had a video about them recently

Wow. That thing's a giant. I've got nothing in the way of advice but I am curious as to what exactly it may be.

It looks like a polyclad flatworm to me, they often stow into our tanks at that size and slowly grow as they eat your CUC and leftover food. I had a small one that I spotted early on, then it disappeared for two years before showing up after a tank crash over 6 inches around.

I am pretty sure those are euphyllia eating ones. I was combating them two or three months ago.
I would recommend you to check your euphyllia, especially where the flesh meets the skeleton. Flatworm Exit are not effective against them. All you can do is to dip and blow away the adults, remove any eggs, and repeat every three to five days. They are gone after a month in my case.

They killed one head of my Aussie torch, and I am lucky that I found them early before more damage are done.

Y'all were 100% right-- they were all over my euphyllia in the frag/growout tanks -- the only tanks without wrasses! Dipped ALL of the euphyllia and killed about 15 adults. Found two nurseries and 40 juveniles, and scraped oodles of eggs. I'll keep dipping weekly over the next month to be sure I've killed them. Just be sure we're getting wrasses too!

What dip are you using? There are a lot of options out there and I'm curious which one seems to be working for you. Thanks for the update!
