Leather Coral

We added a beautiful leather coral to our tank today. On average, how long does it take for it to open up? Ours has been in the tank for about three hours now and still hasn't opened up. We have it towards the top of our 92 gallon corner with a 30" t5 light sitting on the glass lid. Thanks!

just depends. I've had them open right away, and have had some shrivel up for a few days and then open up bigger and more beautiful than before.

I experience dthe same thing. It was wide-up in the store and looked misearble for about 5 to 7 days in my tank. It will come around.

Yeah, leathers will close up and then slough and come back out. I've seen some closed up for a week or so before they come out.
