I currently have Compact Florescent bulbs in my tank but am thing about changing to PAR38's from Ecoxotic. I have a 93 gallon corner tank. Does anyone know what I need to replace my current lights?

This is what they have:

PAR38 20K Aquarium LED 3-455nm Blue 2-6500K White

PAR38 12K Aquarium LED 3-6500K White 2-455nm Blue

PAR38 Royal Blue Aquarium LED 5-455nm Blue 21W

Thanks, Glenn

Par38s just screw into normal light sockets. I would imagine it would be pretty easy to rig something up.

Wanted to mention, though, that I've read that those Ecoxotic bulbs have a very tight spotlight effect. You'll get strong, direct light with hard edges instead of soft, diffused light -- which may be what you want, I don't know. I have one in the box ready to test it for myself tomorrow. It's going over a little cube, so I'm fine with a spotlight.

I don't really know anything about those lights but I also have a 92g all glass corner tank. I went with 3 Maxspect Mazarra P-series lights. I get pretty darn good coverage and the modular design is great with the odd shape of the tank. I know that some people don't like them as much as other led lights but they work out great for me with the funky footprint of the tank. I have one on the left and one on the right nearer to the front and one towards the back in the center. Kind of like a triangle. I don't know what the cost would be compared to the units you are looking at.

Got this hooked up yesterday. It's definitely</em> meant to sit much higher than will work over my little 8g cube, so I'll be returning it. Might work great over your cube, though.
