I'm starting my research into LED lighting and was wondering what type of color combinations people are finding efficient and attractive. I have a 90gal and would eventually like to add all types of corals along with maybe a clam.
Do you know the difference between the Royal Blue and the CREE Blue? The RapidLED site specifically mentions the difference. Is one better than the other? I believe the Royal Blues are used for Moon Lights as well correct?
I'd also like to see what types of Lens/Optics people are using. Has anyone experimented with mixing different degrees to get both spotlights and overall effects?
Cool blue and royal blue is what I have experience with. Royal has more of a dark deeper blue, almost like an actinic t5 bulb. Cool blue is a lighter blue, and has a little greenish hue to me.
