Would a 120 watt be enough to run over my 30 cube(18x18x18)? The fixture is dimmable and has 55x3watt leds....28 white(12,000 to 14,000K) and 27 blue(460 nan). I keep an anenome and a few soft corals. Would like to add other corals. This will help me make my final decision. Need all of your valued opinions. Do you need a few reds, violets, and greens? I want to keep it as simple as possible.......Thanks for the info

from what i've heard using full spectrum i.e. adding in red, green, purple will yield better results but it does matter what color you put next to one another

More than enough, but that sounds more like a 160w fixture.

I run two 120w over a 120g mixed reef.

Jbadd99...Are your fixtures just blue and white LEDs? How long is your photo period? Are yours dimmable or do they run at full strength? Thanks for the info...Soxx

Blue and white. Photo period is 10 hours, they ramp up at 11am - ramp down at 9pm. Ramp up time is 45 minutes where they gradually increase/decrease in intensity. Full on at 95% power. Had 'em over my tank about two years now.
