Led lights for small refugium question

I set up a small refugium using an old waste collector cup. In it I have a small red mangrove tree in three inches of sand, surrounded by a few different types of macro algae. I purchased a led light rated at 3200 kelvin with 150 lum from the HD the other day thinking that it would be good enough to provide light for the mangrove while keeping the algae growing. Now I am starting to second guess myself. The led provides plenty of light, but in reading a couple of articles on leds, I am starting to think that the 3200 kelvin probably needs to be closer to the 6500 range. would you agree, or do you think I can get away with using this bulb since the fuge is only about 1 foot tall(in terms of light penetration)? Regarding the kelvin rating.. 3200 should produce algae growth since it is in the reddish-yellow spectrum right? Anyway, any insight would be greatly appreciated!
