Hello all,

I'm curious to know what everyone with LEDs is doing with the light schedule. Currently, I'm running my royal blues for about 12 hours and my whites come on in the middle for about 5 hours. What's your schedule and what type of corals?

It would be nice if I could ramp the LEDs up and down, but I'm not there yet because I don't understand how to do it when my drivers use the 0-10v signal instead of the PWM (major design flaw in my opinion). Any advice on automating the dimming under these circumstances?

Well,

How are you controlling them?
External controller, if so type.
APEX or ALC, post the code...

Right now, I have manual potentiometers and a timer which turns everything on and off. No controller. Does someone make a controller that can do 0-10v? I do not adjust the light intensity at this time: just on or off. Although, I'd like to get there with a little guidance.

Any suggestions on a controller?

Thanks!

The Apex includes "variable speed" ports, which can control either controllable pumps (Tunze), dimmable T5 ballasts or LEDs using 0-10vdc. No need to buy any modules or anything.
