Hey guys,

I am looking to retrofit the hood of my redsea max 130D with LEDs. I was thinking about using Currents Orbit Saltwater LED strip but I am worried it won't output enough light to grow corals.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a LED retrofit kit that is reasonably priced and suited to grow corals?

Thanks,
Kyle

Take a look at this to see if it will work for you. https://www.reefbreeders.com/shop/superlux/">https://www.reefbreeders.com/shop/superlux/</a>
Dimensions 16&#8243;x10.5&#8243;x1.5&#8243;

I've never tried there LED's yet but here's another option from rapid LED.

It might be to wide to fit in the hood. I'll get some measurements when I get home from school. I know rapidled will work. I would like to get one with a ramp feature. Thanks for the recommendations.

Take a look at EUPHOTICA Lite or TAOTRONICS. Amazon has both retailing at less than $150.00 each and has good reviews.
