OK Experts here's the scoop!!!
I have a had success with growing my corals with a 48 inch Current Orbit LED (blue's and white's only). From your threads I gather that if I want my Stony's to grow I would need at least a T5. I now have a Aquatic Life 4 bulb T5 H0.
Here's the dilemma: To the eye my blue tip frogspawn is is brown with white tips, my Xenia is a faded purple, under various LED settings ranging for 100% to 0% of the LED's with and without the T5 and various settings of the T5 (White or Blue). The T5 has 2-Actinic's, 1- Purple Up, 1-10K white.
If I look through the camera the frogspawn is green with blue tips and the Xenia is blue.
I realize that I haven,t purchased top line equipment but it's not what I expected.
I understand absorption/reflection to some extent. I am thinking I need reds or yellows.
Your advise and suggestions will be accepted and appreciated.
