In a previous thread I asked for opinions on LED vs MH. I got some great feedback. I'm pretty well decided on LED's. The next question is which one?
I would like feedback from all those with LED's. So far, I've only seen one tank. Nimrod's Maxspect. It looked great but I would like to see others. I'm particularly interested in seeing fixtures that include 30w+ diodes. I also want to see the difference between Cree and Semi LED as well.
Here are the links to manufactures I've found thus far.

out of THOSE 3. I would go aquaillumination. From the reviews I see.. and from what ppl post on other sites they seem to be better built and more powerful than the Max fixtures. As a result they are more $4 :)

The pacific fixture.. I can't even tell what it is yet.. its new apparently?

I bought an older PacSun unit that is Pre-Cree.

They worked great until the master unit took a dunk. The customer support is great though. I'll be order a new set after the holidays.

The newer units DO use CREE LEDs now - don't know if that helps or not.

Happy Hunting! It took me six months to decide!

If you have any more questions about it, just ask away.

i agree with snowman. there is a very nice thread regarding PAR readings, pictures, and growth from older units. alot of people are starting to get the SOL units. they seem very easy to program. a single unit will cover a 24x24 tank nicely but thats about the extent of a single unit coverage. if i were going for a manufactured LED unit id go with the AI SOL blue

forgot to mention, i was talking to an employee at creation reef in woodstock and they are going to start carrying them in stock, im not sure if they will increase the price or not since they seem to keep vortech pumps at retail price
