I know, another china light. Can i get a few of you Led geeks to check these malabu series out. They got my attention.I think they are worth looking into. Here is the site.

They look pretty sharp. I didnt see a price tag anywhere. I also didnt see any reference to the manufacturer of the LEDs. This is usually a big concern of the LED geeks.

Edit: Also, IMO, the programming capability definitely seems more robust than some of the cheaper setups I have seen, but I cant conclude that it is equivalent to the radions or the like.

Hi, John

Attached the price list for the S series as well as the accessories.
It is using Bridelux for white led, Kore EpiValley for Blue led, and Epistar&Epiled for UV,green ,red.
We cover one year manufacturer warranty, also have US based after service if light need to send back to replace for serious unfixed problem. Details attached as well.

Awesome information!

I think this would possibly make a good group buy for the club. Are there any you tube videos of a demo?

i'd def like to get in on that groupbuy.

found this on the tube..its their a150

Edit: i meant s series.

Did you happen to notice that when he turned the LEDs off, the intensity of light didn't change. That means those T5s are doing all the work. I'd have to see more to be convinced.

The intensity for any led fixture on camera is hard to judge. Obviously, we would get a better feel for it in person.

It looks like the person has two actinic supplements. I see that if you focus on the lights that it is difficult to see a change in intensity, but I think you can clearly see a change if you focus on the reef instead.

mods the manufacture asked that the links i shared be taken down but i don't know how to do that if you could help with that it would be appreciated thanks

thy said that i could pm this to any one in the club but they didn't want there competitors to see this info.

I personale am not impressed with this company they have grate communication if you email them but there warranty is only one year and the hole point behind leds is not replacing bulbs every year so i would not buy any prey made fixture with out at least a 3 year warranty

Good point on the warranty.i never really thought about that considering their life expectancy. I'll keep that in mind if I purchase a premade fixture.

I don't think that's really fair. I agree there should be a longer warranty but that doesn't necessarily mean they're crap.
The fixtures look pretty solid and the price is in the $400 range. That's what I got off alibaba from a little googling so I don't know how accurate it will be.
Their store says coming soon or something to that effect.

I was referring to them not wanting their info posted on forums. Now re - reading it, it appears they don't want their price list circulating, which makes sense.

Not just price list but also technical details which makes even more sense. Look at jebao and tunze. They're trying to be careful is how I understood that.
