1. Any LFS have one in stock?
2. Are they as awesome as I think they are?
3. Anything I should know from your experience?
4. I really want one

Thanks!

Lol I think Rit gets them regularly as does the avarium.

I went searching the other week but went flasher wrasse instead :D

Tony,

Whatever you do, make sure you see them eat before you buy them. Like make sure they eat a lot. It's usually best to Get them In pairs or trios, they do better that way. Look at potters wrasses too. Also make sure you look at them and make sure they're not super skinny it's kind of hard to turn that around. I put mine in my refugium for about two weeks because I ha mysis shrimp alive in there, once they got really fat I put them in my dt. Nemos ha some for 40each. Also do not qt them, they do not do well at all in qt tanks

Just make sure that your tank meets their needs and you are committed to taking care of them.

1. they are sand dwellars, so they need a few inches of fine sand
2. they need to be fed a few times a day high quality food including vitamin enriched hakari and pe mysis (SELCA Boost or Selcon), live black worms, nutramar ova, etc
3. 50 gallons or larger established aquarium
4. high quality water (frequent water changes and low phates and trates
5. 2 treatments of prazi pro
6. peaceful tankmates

One of my favorite fishes, but very hard to take care of. Had one several years ago that refused to eat anything I threw at it.

Follow Ralph's advice- he knows what he is doing :)

Thanks for all the advice guys. I ended up going with a Flasher Wrasse even though I love how these guys look.

Luck is luck...better to know what u are doing, and supplying the needs of these babies than rolling the die!

exactly as Ralph said, potters are actually one of the more delicate leopards.if you can supply all their needs, then i would try a meleagris first, they are a hardier leopard than most but only if you can properly care for them.

Looks like a royal flasher. Nice!

Make sure you treat with prazi pro. Otherwise, I can all but guarantee it will perish. Super nice looking flasher!
