let the noob questions begin

i built the stand for my 110g tank this weekend. i have a 29g sump and would like a refug. i realize now that the 29 is too small for both. can the octopus nw 200 or the asm g-2 be used either in tank or out? or, is there a specific model for in and a specific model for out? i also have a 10g tank i could use. i think the asm g2 will fit in the 10g is that a better optinon?

For the most part you need a Recirc skimmer if you want to run it out of the sump. But both those skimmers can be modded!
