So for the last month or so i have noticed something has been digging the sand out of the corner of my 120. I could not figure out what was doing it as none of the fish I have in that tank are sand movers. Tonight I happen to turn my head and noticed one of my niger triggers nose down in the corner using his fins to blow out sand. Now i know alot of fresh water fish will make nests in the sand/gravel or dirt to spawn in. Looked it up and sho enough triggers do this too. I have struggled with hair algae and other things with this tank. It is just nice to see that my triggers are happy, healthy and ready to get it on. 😀

That’s good to hear. Proud parent. It’s always a good feeling to see things acting like they would in nature. Great work. Can’t wait to hear more.
