While plumbing my tank, a guy showed up at my door and asked me if I knew I had a water leak. Found out the “puddle” in my front yard was not retaining water from the month of constant rain but from a busted pipe. When the city water guy said it was most likely pvc I told him I’ll be just fine. Turned off the water, dug the hole which took 95% of the time, bought a few couplers, and bam! Thank you reefing hobby.

I replaced my water supply line to my house with 1" PVC as well. My plumber friend suggested pex, the reefer in me said PVC. After the job was all said and done the same plumber told me that he used PVC for his house in the 70s and it's still good, I asked him why he suggested pex, only 2 connections is the only reason. PVC lasts forever and because of this hobby I was able to make my repair as well.

Good job sir!
